1) Services

We provide exterior cleaning services, which may include (but are not limited to):

  • Pressure washing / jet washing (driveways, patios, paths, walls where suitable)

  • Roof cleaning and moss removal (including air scraping and/or treatment options where appropriate)

  • Gutter cleaning (including inspection and gutter vacuum options)

  • Fascia/soffit cleaning, render/soft washing, conservatory cleaning and related exterior cleaning work

Specific services, method, and scope will be confirmed in your quote and/or booking confirmation.

2) Quotes and pricing

2.1 Quotes

Quotes may be provided based on:

  • Information you supply (including measurements and photos), and/or

  • A site visit/inspection (where required)

Quotes are typically valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

2.2 Pricing changes

A quote may change if:

  • The scope differs from what was described (e.g., heavier staining, access issues, additional areas)

  • The surface condition requires a different method or additional time

  • You request additional work on the day

If the scope changes, we will explain the reason and agree the updated price with you before proceeding.

2.3 Minimum charges

We may apply a minimum charge for small jobs or travel time depending on location and scope.

3) Booking, deposits and payment

3.1 Booking confirmation

A booking is confirmed once you have agreed the quote and a date/time has been arranged.

3.2 Deposits (optional)

If we require a deposit for certain jobs (e.g., larger work), this will be stated at the time of booking. Deposits are typically non-refundable if cancellations occur within the notice period stated in section 4.

3.3 Payment terms

Unless agreed otherwise in writing:

  • Payment is due on completion of the work (same day), or

  • By bank transfer/invoice within 7 days where agreed in advance

We accept [bank transfer / cash / card].

Late payment may result in reminders and/or reasonable recovery action.

4) Cancellations and rescheduling

4.1 Customer cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give as much notice as possible.

  • More than 48 hours notice: no charge

  • Less than 48 hours notice: we may charge a reasonable fee to cover lost time/travel, especially for reserved slots

4.2 Our cancellations (weather, safety, or operational reasons)

Exterior cleaning is weather-dependent. We may reschedule if conditions are unsafe or likely to reduce quality (e.g., high winds, storms, freezing temperatures, heavy rain, or surfaces not suitable to treat/clean safely). We will offer the next available date.

5) Access, utilities and site conditions

To complete the work, you agree to provide:

  • Safe access to the work area (including gates unlocked and clear access routes)

  • Access to an outdoor water supply where required

  • Access to an outdoor power supply where required

  • Reasonable parking access nearby (where possible)

If access is restricted or utilities are unavailable, we may be unable to complete the job or may need to reschedule. Additional time/cost caused by access issues may be chargeable.

6) Safety, risks and limitations of cleaning

6.1 Surface condition

Cleaning can reveal pre-existing issues that are not visible beforehand (e.g., cracks, uneven colour, damaged pointing/mortar, loose joints, existing wear, fragile tiles, poor prior repairs, or underlying staining). We are not responsible for pre-existing defects.

6.2 Results and staining

While we aim for excellent results, we cannot guarantee complete removal of all stains (e.g., some oil, rust, deep-set marks, paint, or long-standing discolouration). We will advise what is realistic.

6.3 Re-sanding and sealants (where offered)

For block paving, re-sanding is recommended in many cases after cleaning. Timing may depend on weather and drying conditions. If sealants are applied, suitability depends on surface type and conditions; we will not apply sealants where we believe it is unsuitable.

6.4 Roof work

Roof cleaning and moss removal methods are chosen based on roof type, condition and safe access. We will not proceed if we believe the roof is unsafe or too fragile to work on without unacceptable risk.

6.5 Chemical treatments

Where treatments are used (e.g., biocide), we apply them responsibly and according to product guidance. You should keep children and pets away from treated areas until dry and follow any aftercare guidance provided.

7) Customer responsibilities (before and after)

Before we arrive, please:

  • Remove or secure fragile items near the work area (plant pots, ornaments, outdoor furniture)

  • Keep pets and children away from the working area for safety

  • Inform us of any known issues (loose paving, broken tiles, drainage problems, electrical hazards)

After the work, you agree to:

  • Follow reasonable aftercare advice provided (especially for treatments/sealants)

8) Photos and marketing (optional)

We may take before/after photos for:

  • Quoting and job records

  • Quality assurance

  • Marketing (website/social media)

We will not publish identifiable images (e.g., house number plates, people) without your consent.
If you do not want photos used for marketing, tell us in writing before the job starts.

9) Complaints and rectification

If you are unhappy with the work, please contact us within 7 days of completion so we can review and, where appropriate, arrange a reasonable remedy. We may request photos and/or revisit to assess.

We will not be responsible for issues caused by:

  • Subsequent weather events

  • Third-party interference

  • Lack of aftercare or maintenance

  • Pre-existing defects or unsuitable substrates

10) Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

Subject to the above:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., loss of profits, business interruption)

  • Our total liability for any claim arising from the services is limited to the amount paid for the specific job, except where UK law requires otherwise

11) Website use

The website content is provided for general information. We aim to keep it accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee it is always complete or current.

12) Privacy

Your personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

13) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the “Last updated” date.

14) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
